Back to being an omnivore (cross-posted at UKP)

I've decided to resume eating meat and fish... yesterday I had tuna and beef (in a spag bol, though not tuna and beef in the same meal) and unless it's purely in my head (and given my head that's a good possiblity) I do feel like I have more energy... and given how this virus thing I have is sapping my energy totally, any energy is better than none.

I am still not going to be eating yeast, though, especially white bread (though all bread to a lesser or greater degree, too). I get really bad abdominal pain when I eat too much bread, so I'm going to make a no-yeast bread tomorrow and see if it's yeast or gluten that is the problem... if I'm ok eating the yeast-free bread, then I know that the yeast is the problem... if I still get pain from it, then I have to go back to the drawing board in trying to figure out what my intestinal problem actually is! Maybe try gluten-free flour with yeast and try again, what fun (not!)

I'm sure that it's not a gluten problem, though, as I had white pasta twice yesterday (lunch with the tuna, and for dinner with the spag bol), and I've have none of the stomach churning and bloating that I get with bread... usually after about four hours of eating bread I get that, and after six to eight hours the pain can start to occur (especially if I eat four or more slices of bread in one day).

Oh well, we shall soon see!
