I'm not voting for David "Smug-git" Cameron/Conservative... I have been watching him on the news over the past few weeks, and the more I see him, the more I really want to punch him! There is just something about him that disagrees with me... I can't quite pin it down, but I don't trust him... and I can't get over the repealing of the hunting with dogs ban, either... so not him!
I'm not voting for Gordon "can't-speak-without-resetting-his-jaw-like-an-old-typewriter" Brown/Labour... I don't trust him, either... and I have said it all along that he is only our current Prime Minister by default (after Tony Blair resigned) and had he called a general election after TB quit he would have been long gone then! He knew that the only way he could be PM was to just "assume" the top spot after the guy that was voted for left! Plus, he has done this country not much good, either.
I'm not voting for Nick "the-racist-barmy-bigot" Griffin/BNP... the man is vile, his party policies are vile, and although I may not like the amount of immigrants we currently have, to just pay them all to go away and then shut our borders is not the way forward!! Some people have genuine asylum here... what about them?!
I'm not voting for UKIP (I'm so uninterested in them that I have no idea just who is the head of the place, lol!)
So, that leaves either the Lib Dems or the Green Party. My heart is saying to vote Green, as I fully agree with everything they have to say, but another part of me is saying to vote Lib Dems... purely as I think they actually have a good shot of making a real difference... and they have made this election not the usual two horse race between the Tories and Labour.
If we have a Green Party member available here, I shall vote Green, but if not then I'm going to have to go Lib Dem, I think... I was impressed by the Party Political Broadcast I saw of Nick Clegg the other day... when it came the turn of Labour and Tory I switched the tv off... same old, same old **sigh**
**7.23pm**
Well, that's that done. Green for the general election and a mixture of Green and Lib Dem for the local one... fingers crossed that something good comes of all this and we don't wake up tomorrow with a Tory Government :(
