How do I feel about about going barefoot?
Personally, I don't like it any more... I used to always have bare feet, but as I've got older I've liked it less and less. Maybe it has to do with having laminate flooring throughout the downstairs areas of the house and going bare of foot just seems to jar my knees and back, maybe it has to do with treading on things that are disgusting or sharp (like other people's hair, the nasty things that kids trail in, stones and such), maybe it's because if my feet feel cold then I seem to feel cold all over, maybe it has to do with the fact that I hate having constantly dirty feet and regardless of how much you clean laminate flooring it never seems to stay clean for very long or maybe it's just that I don't like feet.
I really can't decide - it's probably a mixture of all of them, lol!
As for going barefoot in nature? I don't like the idea of that either... just the thought of things crawling all over my feet gives me the shivers... plus I have the kind of luck that would have me treading on something poisonous, sharp, infectious, shitty or all of the above. I'll stick to wearing shoes, or preferably boots and leave the barefoot walking to those with tougher skin and constitutions!
