Finally, some good news regarding work

Just had our local childminding co-ordinator around (yet again, third visit) and we are finally meeting all of the daft requirements that Ofsted now demand that people meet. That means that there are no more scheduled visit from her this year... so happy. I get so stressed out when I think of her coming round as she has a habit of finding the smallest, trivial things to "action" us about (actioning means that she'll make a follow-up appointment and then come back again to make sure you've done the things she recommends and that you are "doing as you're told!")

We now have nothing planned, visit wise, until the new year... that means I can have a stress free xmas without the worry of people "making sure" I know how to do the job I've been doing for almost 18 years! It's all glorified paper wasting, but "it has to be seen to be done!"
