In general I don't like swearing, I do it, like most people do, but there has to be a good reason for it. In my case it's when I'm angry and/or upset. I swear when I am so wound up that I cannot think of other words to use (or type). Rarely do I use the c-word as to me that is the word that really means I'm so angry that I'm about to explode with rage... I rarely get that angry so I tend not to use it (plus I really dislike it, too).
Fuck I use more often, yes, it's a strong word, but not as bad as the c-word... exasperation usually has me saying that one (and I seem to get exasperated quite a lot lately... sadly).
Any words that contain piss, shit and arse I consider lesser swear words, not as severe as the other two above, but still swear words... on a par with prick, dickhead, bitch, pussy, slag, whore, bastard, etc.
So why is it wrong for me to say piss, pissed, pisses and shit, but it's fine for someone else to say arse and arseholes? They are all swear words, all used to convey strong feelings and if swearing is not allowed then ALL of them should be treated the same way. No?
Obviously not :o(
