Sad and angry in equal measure.

My aunt and uncle came round tonight.

They brought the annual christmas pudding (which is one of the good things about christmas). While they were here they let out the news, very casually, that they had gone to a bluebell wood down in Sussex (Wakehurst Place) and scattered Nana's ashes... only they did it without us! Didn't even think to ask Mum and Dad or me if we'd like to be there for the event!!!

I am really angry! Nana lived with us for 23 years before she died five years ago this December 26th, and they didn't even think to tell us. Had they not come round with the pudding I don't know when we would have found out either! They didn't even phone afterwards to say anything!

I am also quite upset. It seems more final somehow now. Before, there was still a small piece of her still here (even though it wasn't in our house!)... but now that small piece has gone and I didn't even get to see it happen! To say my final goodbye.

I just feel a little numb at the whole lack of consideration shown to us regarding this whole event :o(

Of course, tongues have to be held as there is no point in saying anything now, if they didn't think to say beforehand what is the point of saying anything now it has happened and can't be undone? I'm trying not to cry, but once they leave I'll probably break down.
