I found this written on a pad of paper under my bed. I don't know when I wrote it... probably when I was going through my xtian phase, but I still believe it.
"In the wrong hands the bible is more deadly a weapon than an atom bomb. Twisted by charlatans it makes the innocent 'guilty' - and the guilty 'righteous'. Its abusers use it to perpetuate violence and deny those who need it the most the very mercy and forgiveness that Christ mandated all to freely give.
I do not fear Scripture - just those who make it their mission to use it as a weapon against the vulnerable. Shame on them... and on all who choose to blindly follow them!"
