Alone in the kitchen

And what a strange day it's been.

So much is happening, but it feels like there is nothing happening at all, strange as that may seem?! Sissy is off to uni again early tomorrow morning... I doubt that I'll see her go, she's getting up at 5.30am to get all ready to be packed in the van. She seems nervous but excited... I'm going to really miss her. The next time we'll see her will probably be sometime near Christmas (maybe), over four months away! I doubt we'll be seeing much of her for about three years, really (she's said as much herself), that's how long she has left at uni. Now comes the hard work! She's had her year of pissing it up down the pub and acting like a pratt, now she and her friends have to become adults, with bills to pay and deadlines to meet.

These are the times that I wish that I had a god of some kind to offer up a prayer to, just to keep her (and her friends) safe and give them the strength to see them through the trials and troubles that are bound to pop-up in life.

Anyway... good luck, hin... don't forget us please, and please, please, please be safe down there. If you ever need us, we're only a phone call (and two hours) away (((((hugs)))))
