Talk about bad timing and lack of tact!

I'm a tad pissed off at the moment.

Just like when Michael Jackson died, now people are moaning and complaining that people are updating their statuses at Facebook for Whitney Houston! One girl I know even posted a picture saying on a pic of Whitney "One dies, millions cry" and over a pic of starving African kids "millions die, and no one cries" *sigh* Talk about blowing stuff out of proportion (I wonder how many of those that shared that picture actually put their money where their moral high ground is and give some cash to help the millions dying, though?!)

So she may have died of an overdose, I truly don't care! Looking back at people like Kurt Cobain, I'm still sorry they died, and even more sorry for the children and family they leave behind.

It just annoys me that some people use occasions like this (and celebrity deaths in general) to jump all over people that dare to mourn, even if they're not huge fans, it can still be a shock and surely decency would dictate that if you disagree you don't tell others they're wrong to voice their feelings because you happen to disagree :o(

I don't know, it just makes me think differently about people that do that, and they always seem to pick the times that are sure to guarantee that those that are upset will be more upset by attacking them and saying they're somehow dreadful for grieving over someone famous and not starving kids.
